After years of living abroad and amassing a collection of personal and original art and furniture, this Buckhead couple wanted to finally integrate and showcase their global collection in their newly constructed home. Rich wood tones mend with blues, burgundies, dusty roses, and gold tones to create a modern, Indonesian inspired master bedroom. The homeowners had collected the handmade bed and wardrobe from their time in Asia, but the vintage Chinese trunks were acquired locally to complement the collection and provide the bedside counter space needed. We would say they are definitely statement pieces.
The first floor living spaces display a continuation of these homeowners’ eclectic, transitional, and global style. The living room boasts warm oranges and reds and pick up from their area rug and artwork, pieces from their personal collection. The neutral furniture pieces in the family room are warmed up by earthy greens and browns. Accessories with varying stories add visual interest to the space and help surround the homeowners with beautiful memories.
