This John’s Creek family’s kitchen was outdated and lacked both storage and charm. A neutral color palette and highly functional layout enhance the transitional home’s classic southern feel. The existing arched windows, iron chandelier, and casual wood dining set feel anew and add a familiar sense of home to the new design.
By refacing existing cabinetry, replacing unnecessary uppers with floating walnut shelves, and adding a whole new walk-in pantry, as well as more liner footage of cabinetry, the space is more functional and happy. The two-toned shaker-style cabinets and wooden floating shelves simplified this kitchen, while providing contrast that beautifully anchors the high ceilings. Subway tiles and sparkling new counters freshened up the space for an airy southern-inspired kitchen the family can now enjoy.
