This Sandy Springs master bathroom oasis brings together the modern elements of clean geometry, sleek lines, and openness to create an updated and polished space. Before we started, this room felt dated, cold, and out of touch with the other spaces we had designed for these homeowners in the past. Their bold, contemporary aesthetic needed a chance to shine in their bathroom too, so we found a way to express their style throughout.
The bright matte white floor tiles, pure white quartz countertops, and walls painted our favorite Sherwin-Williams Snowbound, work to brighten up the once dull space. In order to keep the room from feeling too cold, a wood-look tile was installed on the floor and wraps up the side walls of the wet areas to add a bit of warmth in an unexpected way.
That same wood is also present in the double vanity, uniting the two sides of the room. One of the most eye-catching elements of this space is the grey geometric tile accent wall that carries from the tub area and into the spacious shower. The fun installation pattern takes the simple and subtle colored grey tiles to the next level by playing with alternating directions and clean lines. We handpicked the pattern desired and each tile was installed meticulously one by one by our amazing team of installers.
Unifying the tub and shower spaces via tiles creates an altered version of something we are creating and seeing a lot of in master baths lately- Japanese style wet zones! Complete with tall sleek mirrors that elongate the room’s ceiling height, polished sconces on either side to provide plant of light, and a towel warming rack, the details in the space really make this room the calming oasis the homeowners were eager to call their own. The polished plumbing, hardware, and accents work to put the finishing touches on this room, taking this luxury master bathroom to new heights.
