Hello From Yellow Bungalow
You may have noticed we’ve been making some big changes over here, and we can’t wait to fill you in on what has been going on! With a new website, new team members, and too many new projects to count, Yellow Bungalow is in the season of growth, and we’re excited to share with you all.
One of the biggest changes is the size of our company. We recently added two new members to the YB Team and we’d love for you to meet them!
Dorian joins us as a recent graduate of The University of Georgia’s Furnishings and Interiors program and is super excited to be apart of the Yellow Bungalow team. While studying interior design and sustainability in school, Dorian realized her passion for working with people and creating beautiful spaces. She is my right hand on the design side of things.
Victoria joins us from Oglethorpe University where she studied French and theatre and discovered her love of set design. Although new to the world of interior design, she quickly fell in love with the art and has been excited to learn more about designing herself. Day to day, Victoria maintains order and peace in the office, coordinating with vendors and clients; managing inventory; and seeing the purchase phase through from start to finish.
New team members.
New website.
New blog.
Another recent change is our new website. The updated website is lighter, fresher, and (we think) more reflective of who we are as a company. In addition to being more “us,” the website also showcases our work and we hope to use it to engage more with you all.
When we were creating the new website, we also wanted a way to connect with the design community, and anyone interested in interior design. We thought the best way to accomplish this was through a blog, so welcome to the first post of our new blog!
Here you’ll find design tips (of course), the latest trends, behind the scenes happenings, fun facts and design history, as well as lifestyle posts. One post we might be posting about the best colors for fall, and the next we might be sharing our favorite guacamole recipe. We want this blog to be not only an extension of our work, but a place for inspiration, creativity, and conversation. We’d love to hear your ideas as well, so if you have a topic you’d like us to cover, leave a comment below or shoot us an email. Design is a collaborative process, after all.
Not only do we have a new website and blog, but we’re also back on social media. There we’ll be posting snapshots and behind the scenes happenings from our projects, as well as other fun finds. Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest and check back here for the latest updates.
Stay tuned for what’s to come. You won’t want to miss out on all the fun.
